If you treat people with kindness and make sure that your comments will never hurt or humiliate them, you can get away with saying just about anything.
When you allow people to put you down, humiliate you, belittle you, then you are contributing to making their inevitable consequences harder for them.
Can a successful reorientation to a negative path be achieved gradually (I will try to accept humiliation as inevitable), or does it have to be sudden and drastic (I will actively humiliate myself, over and over, in order to diminish my ego)?
'If you want to embarrass or humiliate them then it's eventually going to be bad for your relationship.
And though I aim to defeat you, should I succeed, I will not humiliate you.
