Wild Geese over the Calm Sands

平沙落雁

Qin players simply call this music piece as “Calm Sands”. The score was first published in the Ancient Authentic¹ Qin Music of 1634. Since then it has been loved by qin players from different schools. Various versions of the music were developed，making it as one of the qin music with the largest numbers of published scores. The music depicts² the desolate³ Idnd-scape and the flying wild geese of autumn. In a clear weather of autumn, the wild geese fly in the endless sky. The scenery reflects the thoughts of a recluse⁴.

秦的演奏者只把该乐曲简单称为“平沙”。这种配乐首次发表在古老的秦1634年。从那时起它一直深受来自秦国不同学校的演奏者的喜爱。各种版本的音乐被开发，使得它成为秦音乐出版最多的乐谱之一。音乐描绘了秋季荒凉和大雁飞的景观。在一个天气晴朗的秋季，大雁在无尽的天空飞翔。这风景反映了隐士们的想法。
