Chinese basketball star Yi Jianlian is going back to the NBA, according to Marc Stein at ESPN.

The move has been confirmed by Sina Sports in Beijing, which is further reporting that he has signed a US$ 1.14-million contract with the Lakers.

Yi Jianlian is no stranger to the NBA. The Chinese seven-footer has played for four different teams in the NBA with short stints³ with the Milwaukee Bucks⁴, New Jersey⁵ Nets, Washington Wizards, and Dallas Mavericks⁶.
