I hope you do, if you don't check out the culture page in your local paper or on the internet or just sit down and think of something that you want to do.

I hope to go on a small road trip this weekend.

I have a few ideas but my wife and I haven't decided¹ exactly where to go.

What you do on the weekend obviously depends on the weather, if it's nice and warm outside we often play in the water.

你周末干什么显然要看天气而定,如果是挺暖和的,我们经常在外面玩水。

This means that we could have a water fight with squirt guns outside the house or we could go to the ocean and splash² in the water there.

这意味着我们在房子外面能有一次喷射水枪大战或者我们可以去海边，一头扎进水里。

When it's really cold, we'd like to go sliding, you can pay and go on man made slopes but we like to grab³ a bar and slide down the slipper⁴ slope with the neighborhood's kids.

当天气实在太冷了,我们想去滑冰,你可以花钱在人造斜坡上过瘾,但是我们想抓住一个板子, 与邻居的孩子从坡上滑下来，享受单纯的快乐。

So what's going to be this weekend, indoor stuff, boring, shopping, walking around the music or outdoor stuff, going for a hike or simply a walk?

Of course you can always stay at home and play a ballgame or watch a family video altogether.

Sometimes we buy a Jigsaw⁵ Puzzle and put it together on the kitchen table, we are just talking to each other it's nice to work together as a team.

I hope to spend some quality times with my family even it's for short time.
