There are almost 1.34 million high net worth individuals (HNWIs) with a net worth exceeding 10 million yuan in the Chinese mainland by the end of May this year, up 10.7% than before, according to a report entitled "Going Global: Trends of the Chinese HNWI 2016" jointly¹ released by the Hurun Research Institute and China CITIC Bank.

根据胡润研究院与中信银行近日联合发布的《2016中国高净值人群出国需求与趋势白皮书》，截至今年5月底，中国大陆拥有近134万资产净值超过1千万元的高净值人士，增长率为10.7%。

Among those HNWIs, a total of 89,000 are billionaires, which sees a growth rate of 14.1%.

其中，亿万富翁有8.9万人，增长率为14.1%。

Beijing witnessed the highest population density² of HNWIs, with 1.1 HNWIs out of every 100 people. Shanghai ranks second followed by Jilin and Zhejiang.

北京的高净值人士"密度"最高，每100人中就有1.1个高净值人士。上海的高净值人士"密度"排第2，其次为吉林、浙江。

As per the report, the largest numbers of HNWIs reside in Guangdong, reaching 240,000 people. It is followed by Beijing, Shanghai and Zhejiang.

根据报告，广东的高净值人士数量最多，达24万人，其次为北京、上海、浙江。

The combined UHNWIs of this four regions reached 843,000, accounting³ for 63% of total.

以上四个地区的高净值人士的数量达到了84.3万人，占到了总数的63%。

China's UHNWIs are mainly comprised of four groups: business owners (55%), gold collar (20%), real estate⁴ investors⁵ (15%), and professional stock traders (10%).

中国高净值人士主要由4组人群构成，他们分别是：企业业主（55%），金领（20%），房地产投资商（15%）以及职业股市交易员（10%）。
