Chinese experts claimed that smog can delay global warming because the particles help oceans absorb carbon dioxide.

近日有中国专家表示，雾霾可以减缓全球变暖，因为雾霾中的微小颗粒有助于海洋吸收二氧化碳。

The process can store more carbon dioxide in the ocean and delay the global warming process, said Li, adding that previously⁶ there was no evidence to prove that the acid substance helps insoluble iron content convert into soluble.

李卫军表示，这一过程会导致更多的二氧化碳储存在海洋中，起到减缓全球变暖的作用，并指出之前没有证据证明酸性物质有助于不溶性铁转化为可溶性铁。

However, scientists found particles produced by steel factories and coal factories in the Yellow Sea region contain iron substances and are surrounded by sulfate.

但是科学家们却发现，黄海海域附近的钢厂和煤厂产生的废气颗粒中含有铁物质，并被硫酸盐包裹。

The sulfate surface contains soluble iron, which provides "solid evidence" for the theory.

这些硫酸盐表面含有可溶性铁，从而为上文的理论提供了“铁证”。
