China's Sichuan University and Fudan University recently organized a "chef exchange," offering the students on both campuses¹ a chance to taste the authentic² cuisine³ of a different region⁴.

The special dishes sold out immediately, and some teachers even queued up to try the "imported" cuisine.

A total of 12 dishes were available during the chefs' residency at Fudan.

An employee of the cafeteria in Sichuan said that she had never seen such a big crowd since she started working there three years ago.

Students at both universities later joked that they had reached an agreement to keep each other's chefs.
