双语诗歌：我记得

I remember, I remember

The house where I was born,

The little window where the sun

Came peeping in at 1)morn;

He never came a wink¹ too soon

Nor brought too long a day;

But now, I often wish the night

Had borne my breath away.

我出生的那间屋子，

早晨，阳光从小窗

进来窥视；

他从不早来片刻，

也不多留半晌，

带走我的呼吸。

The rose red and white,

The violet and the lily-cups—

Those flowers made of light!

The 2)lilacs where the 3)robin built,

And where my brother set

The 4)laburnum on his birthday,—

The tree is living yet!
