Emma Watson has shared her joy at Dan Stevens being cast as the Beast to her Beauty in the live-action remake of the classic Disney animation¹.

The actress tweeted on Thursday morning: 'Could not be more happy that this man will be Beast!!! Welcome aboard.'

Dan had also confirmed the news in his own funny way, tweeting a picture of the expression 'Beast Mode' to his followers².

It was reported that Stevens, 32, was in negotiations³ to play the dual⁴ roles the Prince and Beast by The Hollywood Reporter opposite Emma Watson's Belle⁵.
