1、Over time，we can bulid great character，

时间可以造就人格，

可以成就事业，

也可以储积功德。

则天下没有做不成的事。

7、When doing any task，have the innocence⁴ of a child，

the endurance of a camel，and the courage of a lion.

做事要有赤子之心、

骆驼的耐力、狮子的勇猛。

8、If we can reduce desires， there is nothing really worth getting upset about.

人生若能减低欲望，

生活上便没有什么值得计较！

9、Many seek illumination by lighting⁵ up a lamp，when the true light is within.

有人点灯求光明，

其实真正的光明在我们心里。

10、To have a warm and happy family，

we should nurture⁶ a heart of joy and shower our family with blessings⁷.

想要家庭吉祥、和睦，就应该常常起欢喜心，

天天为自己的家庭祝福。

11、People have desires which causes endless misery⁸.

人都是求“有”，

有就是烦恼。

12、When we care for others with deep sincerity⁹，

our heart of love is the noble seed that brings great blessings.

以亲切的爱心去关怀别人，

这份爱心就是造福的种子。

13、be faithful and honest from deep inside，

this is the essence of spiritual cultivation¹⁰.

直心即道场。

14、Giving to others with total dedication¹¹ creates our life，

Doing noting and idling time away consumes our life.

每天无所事事，是人生的消费者，

积极付出，才是人生的创造者。

15、To win the hearts of others and always be welcome，

we must be cautious of our tone of voice and facial expression.

要做个受人欢迎和被爱的人，

必须先照顾好自我的声和色。

16、making vows¹² without taking any action is like ploughing a field without planting any seeds.

There is no harvest to reap，letting opportunity pass us by.

有愿放在心里，没有身体力行，

正如耕田而不播种，皆是空过因缘。

17、Life is impermanent , wisdom is eternal；

the love in our heart is boundless¹³，

and our spirit will always remain.

生命无常，慧命永存；

爱心无涯，精神常在。

18、To have two good hands and refuse to work is no different than having no hands at all.

双手健全却不肯做事的人，

等于是没有手的人。

19、Do good things whenever the opportunity arises.

When the opportunity goes away，try as we，it will be too late.

要把握好做事的因缘，

一旦因缘消逝，想做就来不及了！

20、Be careful and mindful when dealing¹⁴ with others，but do not be narrow-minded.

为人处事要小心、细心，

但不要“小心眼”。
