Current embroidery methods carry forward solid old traditions,but it also makes some innovations in stitching and modeling. Traditional embroidery needlework displays patterns only on one side, but presently artists produce two-sided embroidery pieces，stitching different patterns on either side of the same satin cloth. In some amazing designs,one side displays a cat,and the other a fish,both figures done on a single piece of transparent² fabric³ and both are completed at the same time.

当前的刺绣方法发扬其扎实古老的传统，但同时也在拼接和造型上有所创新。传统的刺绣缝纫仅在一侧显示图案，但目前的艺术家制作双面刺绣，在相同的缎布的两侧拼接不同的模式。在一些惊人的设计中，一面显示一只猫，另面却是一条鱼，这两个图案在一张透明织物的两侧，并都在同一时间完成。
