灿烂的星》为济慈所作的一首诗歌。济慈主张“美即是真，真即是美”，才横溢，与雪莱、拜伦齐名。他生平只有25岁，但其遗下的诗篇一直誉满人间，被认为完美地体现了西方浪漫主义诗歌的特色，并被推崇为欧洲浪漫主义运动的杰出代表。

灿烂的星

Bright star! would I were steadfast¹ as thou art--

Not in lone² splendour hung aloft the night,

And watching, with eternal lids apart,

Like Nature's patient sleepless³ Eremite,

The moving waters at their priestlike task

Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,

Or gazing on the new soft fallen mask

Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--

No--yet still steadfast, still unchangeable,

Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening⁴ breast,

To feel for ever its soft fall and swell⁵,

Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,

Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,

And so live ever--or else swoon to death.

灿烂的星!我祈求像你那样坚定——

但我不愿意高悬夜空，独自辉映，

并且永恒地睁着眼睛，

像自然间耐心的、不眠的隐士，

不断望着海滔，那大地的神父，

用圣水冲洗人所卜居的岸沿，

或者注视飘飞的白雪，象面幕，

灿烂、轻盈，覆盖着洼地和高山——
