The study of how netizens in 100 Chinese cities talk on social networks found that netizens in the Guangdong city of Jiangmen regularly discuss their work, while residents of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang are more laid back and talk about leisure.

这份关于国内100座城市的网民在社交网络上谈论的话题的研究发现，广东江门市的网民经常讨论他们的工作，而浙江杭州的居民则更为悠闲，讨论的话题是休闲娱乐。

Beijing netizens were found to be paying particular attention to international goings-on on Weibo, while Shanghai and Guangzhou residents showed little interest in news reports in general.

The "Sun Yat-Sen Index 2016" was released by the Chinese Netizen Social Mentality² Research Lab, the Sun Yat-Sen Association of Cyber Culture and the Guangzhou Big Data and Public Dissemination³ Research Base.

这份名为《2016中山指数》的报告是由中国网民社会心态研究实验室、中山市网络文化协会、广州市大数据与公共传播研究基地联合发布的。

The index is based on big data collected from 2,000 to 5,000 random⁴ netizens from 100 cities across the country, surveying behavior on China's most popular online social platforms Wechat, Sina Weibo and Baidu Tieba, said the Xinhua News Agency.
