A report shows that the number of international students enrolled¹ in US higher education increased by 7.1% and topped the 1 million mark for the first time in 2015-16.

The 2016 Open Doors Report by the Institute of International Education in the US shows that the number of international students reached 1,043,839 students in 2015-16, with 69,000 more students than the prior² year at colleges and universities across the US.
