German conglomerate¹ company Siemens was ranked the top regarded company. France's Michelin Group came in second, with Google parent company Alphabet in third.

The US and Japan dominated the Top Regarded Companies list, as it featured 61 US companies and 42 Japanese companies. 17 Chinese companies made the list.

Nintendo ranked No 4, with Panasonic and Toyota Motor ranking 10th and 13th, respectively.

This list is based on Forbes' 2017 Global 2000 rankings, which featured public companies from 58 countries that together accounted for $35.3 trillion in revenue.
