Prosecutors¹ in Turkey are seeking the extradition² of NBA player Enes Kanter over his support for Turkish cleric Fethullah Giilen, according to media reports.

据媒体报道，土耳其检察官正在寻求引渡NBA球员 恩尼斯·坎特，原因是他支持土耳其牧师Fethullah Giilen。

The Turkish government is also seeking an international arrest warrant for Kanter through Interpol, an international police group, according to The Wall Street Journal.

据《华尔街日报》报道，土耳其政府还正在通过国际刑警组织寻求对坎特的国际逮捕令。

Kanter said he feared he could be attacked or killed over his opposition³ to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan if he were to travel to London.

Kanter, a vocal⁴ critic of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has feuded⁵ for years with the Turkish government, which alleges⁶ that Kanter is a terrorist because of his support for Guilen.

Guilen is accused by Turkey of orchestrating a failed coup⁷ against in 2016. Turkey has sought the extradition of Gulen. who also lives in the U.S.

In response to reports of his arrest warrant, Kanter wrote on Twitter that the Turkish government"can NOT present any single piece of evidence of my wrongdoing"
