Ireland is set to go under red, orange and yellow rain and wind warnings as Storm Bert hits the country.
The warnings have kicked in with severe flooding, damage and risk to life expected in parts of the country. Over 100mm of rain is expected over the next 36 hours in some parts.
The red warning is in place for Galway and Cork1. The orange warning applies for Waterford, Kerry, Clare, Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim. While the rest of Ireland is under a yellow warning.
Around 60,000 homes and businesses across the country are without power while parts of the country have experienced2 flooding.
