MCDONALD'S has unveiled its new burger boxes... and they're like nothing we've seen before.

The fast food chain has teamed up with fashion icon¹ and Britain's Next Top Model judge Julien Macdonald OBE, whose red carpet gowns have been worn by A-list celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian.

He crafted the luxury burger boxes for the McDonald's Signature Collection, which will be available in over 900 McDonald's restaurants across the UK by the end of the year.

The premium² burgers come in three flavours – The Classic, The BBQ and The Spicy³ - and all of them include fancy ingredients and 20mm thick beef patties.

The bling containers are printed with Julien's trademark⁴ crystal detailing and embellishment , along with the restaurant's iconic golden arches.

Speaking about his design, Julien said: "I drew inspiration from my fashion creations and iconic embellished⁵ red carpet dresses.

"This was translated into a gold baroque crystal encrusted box, which is the perfect packaging for the luxury McDonald’s Signature Collection burger."

He will unveil his "sumptuous⁶ " creation at the McDonald’s flagship restaurant in London's Leicester Square today (Wednesday).

One special bejewelled box, hand-crafted by Julien himself, will be auctioned⁷ to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
