Starting in June 2024, the Eiffel Tower ticket price will increase by 20 percent to cover maintenance and renovation¹ costs.

Paris City Hall recently approved an increase in Eiffel Tower ticket price, effective June 17, 2024. This decision aims to fund the essential maintenance and renovation work at the iconic Parisian landmark².

Currently, the Eiffel Tower entry tickets, which include elevator access to the top of the tower, cost EUR 29.40 (RM 149). From June 17, the ticket prices will see a 20 percent hike to cost EUR 35.30 (RM 180). The same ticket will cost EUR 17.70 (RM 90) for children between 12 and 14 years old, whereas for kids from four to 11 years of age, the tickets will cost EUR 8.90 (RM 45).

The Eiffel Tower was earlier renovated³ with a capital of EUR 60 million (RM 305 million), which included a fresh paint job. However, the amount was not deemed sufficient to cover the costs of the renovations, according to the maintenance union.
