大家好！今天我演讲的题目是《诚信》。

Hello everyone! Today, the topic of my speech is "Integrity."

诚信是中华民族的传统美德，是我们做人做事的基本准则。古人云：“人无信不立。”意思是说，一个人如果没有诚信，就无法在社会上立足。

Integrity is a traditional virtue¹ of the Chinese nation and a fundamental principle for us to conduct ourselves and handle affairs. As the ancient saying goes, "A person without integrity cannot stand." This means that a person without integrity cannot establish themselves in society.

诚信不仅仅是对他人的承诺，更是对自己的一种约束。无论是在学习中，还是在生活中，我们都应该做到言行一致，表里如一。

Integrity is not just a promise to others but also a constraint² on oneself. Whether in our studies or in our daily lives, we should strive to be consistent in our words and actions, and to be genuine inside and out.

在学校里，诚信体现在我们对待学习的态度上。考试时不作弊，作业不抄袭，都是诚信的表现。只有这样，我们才能真正学到知识，提升自己的能力。

In school, integrity is reflected in our attitude towards learning. Not cheating during exams and not plagiarizing³ homework are manifestations⁴ of integrity. Only by doing so can we truly acquire knowledge and improve our abilities.

在生活中，诚信体现在我们与人交往的过程中。答应别人的事情要做到，借了别人的东西要归还，都是诚信的表现。只有这样，我们才能赢得别人的信任，建立良好的人际关系。

In life, integrity is reflected in our interactions with others. Keeping promises and returning borrowed items are manifestations of integrity. Only by doing so can we earn the trust of others and build good interpersonal relationships.

诚信不仅仅是个人的品质，更是社会的基石。如果每个人都能做到诚信，那么我们的社会将会更加和谐，更加美好。

Integrity is not just a personal quality but also the cornerstone of society. If everyone can uphold integrity, our society will become more harmonious⁵ and beautiful.

同学们，让我们从现在做起，从小事做起，做一个诚实守信的人，为建设一个诚信的社会贡献自己的力量！
