Spring Morning

春眠不觉晓，

This spring morning in bed I'm lying,

处处闻啼鸟。

Not to awake till birds are crying.

夜来风雨声，

After one night of wind and showers,

花落知多少。

How many are the fallen flowers?

2.《宿建德江》

Mooring¹ on the River at Jiande

移舟泊烟渚，

My boat is moored² near an isle³ in mist grey;

日暮客愁新。

I'm grieved anew to see the parting day.

野旷天低树，

On boundless⁴ plain trees seem to scrape the sky;

江清月近人。

In water clear the moon appears so nigh.
