Today is my first day at school. I meet a new classmate. Her name is Lily³. She is from the UK, but her parents are from China. She speaks very good English.

今天是我上学的第一天。我遇到了一位新同学。她的名字叫莉莉。她来自英国，但她的父母来自中国。她的英语说得非常好。

Lily is a nice girl. She sits after me in class. Our teacher, Mr. Wang, is very kind. He asks, "Who is the new student?" Lily stands up and says, "I am."

莉莉是个好女孩。在班上，她坐在我后面。我们的老师王先生非常和蔼。他问：“新同学是谁？”莉莉站起来说：“是我。”

There is also a boy named Tom. He is from Canada. His neighbour is a woman from the USA. She is an English teacher. Tom and Lily become good friends.

After school, we all go home together. I am very happy to have such⁴ great classmates!
