Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci are snipping¹ their relationship.

Nearly two years after the Edward Scissorhands director and the Malena actress made their red carpet debut², the couple confirmed their breakup.

Although the couple first stepped out for the October 2023 premiere of Diabolik Chi Sei? at the 18th Rome Film Festival, Monica shared a glimpse into their relationship four months earlier.

"What I can say... I'm very happy to have met the man, first of all," the Matrix Revolutions told in June 2023. "It's one of those encounters that rarely happen in a lifetime... I know the man, I love him."

"Now I'm going to meet the director, it's another adventure that begins," she continued. "I love Tim. And I respect Tim Burton enormously."
