A Toy Story Land will be the first new addition to Shanghai Disneyland after it opened four months ago, sources with the resort said last Thursday.

迪士尼度假区上周四发布消息称，在开业4个月后，上海迪士尼乐园将增加第一个新园区--玩具总动园。

A ground-breaking ceremony was held recently and the new facility in Shanghai Disneyland is expected to be completed and open to visitors in 2018.

上海迪士尼最近举行了一个动土仪式，新的设施预计将于2018年完工并向游客开放。

"We are demonstrating our confidence by breaking ground on the new area which will be authentically¹ Disney," said Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

华特迪士尼公园及度假村主席鲍勃·查派克表示：“我们正在通过在新地区破土动工来展示我们的信心，这将是真正的迪士尼。”

The new facility will be the backyard belonging to Andy, the boy from the Toy Story movies.

新的设施将会是《玩具总动员》电影中男孩安迪的后花园。

It will make visitors feel like they have been shrunk down to the size of their favorite Toy Story characters.

在这里，游客会感觉自己仿佛缩小至《玩具总动员》影片里的玩具大小。

This will be the seventh themed area in Shanghai Disneyland. Characters and stories from the Toy Story franchise² are popular in China.
